William "Bill" Manos' Obituary
William P. Manos, lovingly known as “Mr. Bill”, of Cinnaminson, formerly Browns Mills, NJ, passed away on August 28th, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born to the late George and Ruth (nee Mikkelsen) on November 24th, 1941, in Perth Amboy, NJ. Bill is the beloved brother of Gerry Walker. Growing up, Bill attended Merchantville High School as part of the graduating class of 1959. Immediately following his high school graduation, Bill enlisted in the United States Army & served his country proudly from 1960 – 1966. After he was discharged, he returned home to his children, Michael Manos (2002), Joseph Manos, and Billy Manos. As a father, Bill coached his sons’ little league baseball team and instilled integrity, discipline, and strength in his sons. While attending a social group called Parents Without Partners, he met the beautiful Delores (nee Hammell) (2024). The pair bonded over their boys, values, and respect for one another. As a couple, they would often go out dancing. On April 1st, 2000, Delores and Bill became fools in love & officially tied the knot after being together for 15 years, marking 40 years of love shared between them before Delores’s passing in 2024. Bill became the beloved stepfather of Steve (Jim Rizzo) Heller, filling him with joy as he welcomed another son into his life.
Bill enjoyed going to breakfast at the local diner in Browns Mills, listening to the music of the 1950’s, spending time with the guys at the barber shop, and occasionally going to the Cinnaminson Diner with his son Joe. He became friends with the staff of Wynwood Senior Living and enjoyed his solitude.
Bill leaves behind a memory of discipline, faith, and respect for those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Mr. Bill’s name to The Fisher House.
