Gerard Crosson
Yesterday was the 40th Anniversary of the wedding of Dan Boland and Mari Crosson. I was texting Mari, Anne, Eileen and Lisa about the great memories we had of partying with the Martens, the Lowells and John Jensen at the Centerport Howard Johnsons and the Baxters disco after the reception. We started texting about the “older generation” in Centerport when we were growing up and we learned about the passing away of your father. Our condolences. Your parents were a big part of the lives of the Crossons. One memory of your parents I have was in 2007 when I wrote your mother and said I visited my
Niece Mary Kate for the weekend in Philadelphia a week earlier. She wrote back saying my letter made her feel guilty because she and your father hadn’t been over to Philadelphia in a long time. I corresponded with your mother until shortly before her passing. Our parents I know are all in heaven now still debating what is better, the Latin Mass or the English mass.
