William D. McGehrin Sr.'s Obituary
William D. McGehrin, Sr. passed away peacefully with his family at side on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at his residence in Riverton, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, Bill was 77 years old. He formerly lived in South Philly. Bill proudly served his country in the US Army. He was employed for 20 years at Hahnemann Hospital as a computer operator. Bill enjoyed fishing and playing basketball with his siblings, children and grandchildren. Beloved husband of 56 years to Rose (nee Podagrosi). Loving father of Maryann Millman, Kelly (John) Colarelli and William D. (Trisha) McGehrin, Jr. Grandfather to Michael (Heather), Kerri, Jack, Daniel and Madison. Great grandfather of Max. Brother of Edward, Joseph, Marie Haas, Thomas, George, Theresa Signell and the late Bernadette Feeley. Relatives and Friends are invited to Bill’s Life Celebration and viewing Sunday Eve 7-9 p.m. and Monday 9-10 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. His Funeral Mass will follow 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Riverton, NJ. Interment, with Military Honors, will be at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
