William Muldowney's Obituary
WILLIAM J. ?Bill? MULDOWNEY, 87, died suddenly on May 25, 2013 of respiratory failure following an operation. Beloved husband of the late Patricia M. Muldowney (nee Dietrich) married for 62 years. Loving father of Suzanne M. Muldowney of Delran, NJ, William A. Muldowney (Mary-Pat) of Collegeville, PA , the late Mark S. Muldowney and Gregory P. Muldowney of Bolton, MA, and dear grandfather of Patrick W. Muldowney.
Bill was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army in Germany.
Bill was a longtime resident of Cinnaminson, where he was a very active member of the Burlington County Footlighters theatrical group, frequently holding positions on the board of directors. He was also active in the Burlington County Model Railroad Club during its early years, serving one year as president.
Music was a great influence in his life, particularly jazz. Since he was four years old, Bill was well known for playing the piano, often providing musical entertainment at the awards ceremonies with the Footlighters, and occasionally in the lobby at his last place of residence, Cadbury at Cherry Hill.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his Life Celebration Service at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North on Thursday from 7:30p to 9:00p and Friday from 10:30a-11:30a followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30a.
