William D. Sweeney's Obituary
William D. Sweeney passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Born in Bordentown, NJ to Russell and Myrtle Sweeney, Bill was 74 years old. He was a resident of Mt. Laurel for the last 10 years and formerly of Marlton.
Beloved husband of 30 years to Angela Sweeney. Father of William D. Sweeney, Jr., Laurinda (Mark) Loschiavo, Glenn (Deborah) Grassano and Andrea Graziano. Pop-pop to Aidan, Kathryn, Lucas, Shauna, Madison, Sean and Daniel. Brother of the late Kathleen Shaffer and Russell Sweeney.
Bill proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a disabled vet.
He was employed as a vending machine technician for 40 years. He was last employed by Capital Beverage in Maple Shade.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday from 9:30 11 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North
His Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Guests are required to wear facial covering and observe social distancing.
Entombment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Military honors will follow the committal prayers.
