My wife and I lived “underneath” Bill in Westampton Courts in the early 80’s. Bill was a great neighbor and he was very nice to two young newlyweds. He always spoke highly about Trucking and I believe he worked for Super Fresh at the time. When we knew Bill he had a great affection for cars and he helped us more than once with ours when we had a bit of difficultly with it. May his memory be a blessing to those that knew him.
Bill enjoyed life. From ball games to travel, and of course his God children. He was always excited to talk about his family. So many memories from the short time we knew each other. We enjoyed going out to eat, and to enjoy a cold beer. My wife and I attended our first ball game at Citizens Bank Park with Bill and Rex. The Phillies won and the weather was perfect. Bill found out my mother-in-law was an Eagles fan. He brought her an Eagles blanket and she held tight to that every game as she cheered on her team, and Bill's team. That was the kind of man he was, generous and kind. I always felt Bill was ready for anything we talked about. Except getting rid of his old F-150 ! We joked about that pick-up, but it was his trusted steed. A friend that didn't know how to say no and was always ready to lend a hand. Tammie and I will miss his visits and companionship. The world lost a good man but Heaven gained a great representative of mankind. RIP buddy !
Bill was a one of a kind guy. He was my best friend for 44 years. We were golfing buddies for over 20 years, worked at 3 trucking jobs together. We shared a love for the Eagles. He was always there when you needed him. He was best man at my wedding. Had many barbecues together (his burgers were the best) . I named my son William in honor of my friendship to Bill. He was always proud of that especially when my son started calling him "Big Biil". The thought that he won't be over to swim in the pool or share a barbecue with is sad beyond words. Bill was the best. I will always miss you my friend.
I had to share this January 1, 2022 photo of you with your Eagles Sweater that lit up. Bill you were so funny when you turned it on, as always, you brought much joy and laughter to our gathering. I also posted photos with your New Penn Buddies, what a great group of guys. I will always be grateful Bill for your care and concern for my Dad as well as the rest of my family, which you know Bill you are a part of even though Joe hid the papers. I will miss you so much but I know my Dad will miss your calls and you keeping him updated on everyone. I bet you took the best Mack and put the pedal to the metal on I-80 to Heaven and hope you now relax and enjoy because you have earned it with with all your kindness.

Everything in the lovely obituary about Billy Tymick is so true. He was just the salt of the earth. Tom Fisher and I have been the recipients of his many kindnesses including rides to and from trip departures, his expert wood-working, great dinners, outings and more. Any time Tom was hospitalized, Billy was always the first one to visit. He will be sorely missed! Norma Blake-Fisher
