Wilma "Billie" Dwyer's Obituary
Wilma (Billie) Dwyer, of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on October 15th, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 85 years old.
She was born in Bristol, PA, to the late William Held and Margaret Conner. Billie grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, PA. As a child she loved spending time on her Aunt Dottie's farm in Hazleton, PA. As a young woman, she found joy in art, spending countless hours with a paintbrush in hand. Her love for daisies, frogs, and palm trees was well known to all who knew her, as they adorned many of her paintings and brought her comfort throughout her life.
Billie dedicated 25 years to working at Bally's Hotel and Casino, where she was known for her warm smile and commitment to excellence. She formed many lasting friendships and fond memories during her time there, making her a beloved part of the Bally’s community.
Billie was the loving mother of Christine Nicolosi (Robert Romisher) and Donna Dwyer-Williams (John Williams, Deceased). Cherished grandmother to Nicole Jankowski (Richard Jankowski Jr.), Alfred (Tony) Nicolosi, and Tiffany Williams. Dear great-grandmother to Maximus (Max), Jaxen, Jameson(Jamie), Roman, Sophia, and Kynslee. She had a special place in her heart for her fur babies, Daisy Mae and Bella.
Her family and friends will always remember her for her creativity, warmth, and unwavering love. Billie will be missed dearly but leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and beautiful memories.
