I met Arlene at a church we both attended years before. And her gentle spirit and smile were always so bright. When I became a Career Coach our paths crossed again, when I had a chance to enhance her resume and even be a reference for her job search. It was a joy to help Arlene, since I knew that she would be very kind and uplifting to the clients she would be working with. . . . To her family, I am so sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace and may you be comforted.
Arlene was a friend and confidant to me. She was my sister-in-law but she always felt like a sister. She was always searching, always learning, always growing. She approached motherhood with love and enthusiasm and created new careers for herself in interior decoration and teaching. She did everything possible to meet the challenges in her life. Like the sunflowers she loved I remember her beaming with life. For those who knew and loved her the world is a less brilliant place now that she is gone from us. My heartfelt to sympathy to all who share in this loss. She is at peace now but we will be missing her illumined presence in our lives.
