I moved from the area back in 2020 and did not know about Dave's passing until just now. I had the pleasure of playing for him on the Medford Yankees in 2002. He was a fine manager, a great hitter, and most importantly, a kind and thoughtful gentleman. I am honored to have known him and played beside him for that short time. The world is certainly a lesser place with him gone.
