Sandy, Diane, and Linda-
Auntie Barb was a very special lady to all. She always had a smile on her face and loved to see and greet friends with a kiss and a hug. I have been one of Sandy's longest friends and have grown up with her and her sisters. I have many fond memories but I guess the one I will always cherish is the day I asked Mrs Winters if I could call her "Auntie Barb". She always seemed more like family to me anyway, She looked and smiled @ me and said.."of course you can lovey". I was so happy.
She was always someone you can count on to help you with anything. Endless invites for a delicious meal. She had an artistic flare which was apparent in all she did. She would help hem or sew just about anything you needed. Was always "behind the scenes" helping for many wonderful events.
She even hand sewed my mothers wedding gown when she married my stepdad. Wow! How amazing?
So glad to have had her in my life. Im so happy she was was surrounded by her girls. She was proud of them. It was very special that Sandy and her got to spend time living with each other for past few years. They were "best buds". :)
Auntie Barb Rest In Peace. Know that you will be surely missed. Your smile will live on in my thoughts forever. Love you-
