Bernadette "Bernie" R. Bishop's Obituary
Bernadette R. "Bernie" Bishop (nee Burke), of Collingswood, formerly of Maple Shade, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2016. She was 76 years old.
Bernie was a Camden Catholic High School alumnus, and was active in the Catholic Young Adult Club (CYAC). She enjoyed socializing with friends and family and especially enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her fellow CCHS alumni.
Bernie was the beloved sister of Edward Burke (Nancy), Thomas Burke (Cathy), Joseph Burke (Carol), Dorothy Robertson, the late Charles Burke (the late Marie), and the late Marie Moore (the late Dinty). Loving aunt of 23 nieces and nephews, and is also survived by numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bernie's life celebration gathering at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St., on Saturday July 30th from 9 - 10:30 am. Her funeral Mass will follow at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment in Colestown Cemetery, 100 Kings Hwy. N., Cherry Hill.
