I had the pleasure of playing with Bernie when I was the drummer for the Our Gang Orchestra and the Cousins 2 Orchestra. Besides being a wonderful and generous person, he was one of the most talented musicians that I ever knew. His pride in our heritage was a hallmark of who he was as a person and musician. It was a privilege to know him and play music with him. His passing leaves a void that no one can replace, but the memory of who he was as a person and musician will remain in our hearts. Lorraine, David and Jason. Its been an honor to know such a special technologist, thinker, visionary and developer of immensely vital to national security defensive systems. He was the father of many systems in Lockheed. We are going to miss his intellect, gentle self and unconditional love for his family. This came as an utter shock, may God bless his soul
