Beth Jo Concannon's Obituary
Beth Concannon passed away on November 16 surrounded by her loving family. A devoted mother and wife, Beth she was a blessing to her children, grandchildren and the people of New Beginnings Community Church where she served alongside her husband Tim who was the pastor. She was raised in Brooklyn NY and attended Erasmus High School before moving to Spain where she lived for eleven years. While in Spain Beth became a devout Christian and served in a Christian community and taught in their school. Beth met her husband Tim in Spain who was there training for pastoral ministry. They married there and shortly returned to the states to begin their pastoral ministry.
Her greatest joy and her singular passion was for her children Matt, Chris, Eric and Rachel There was no sacrifice too great to ensure the wellbeing of her kids. Rachel and Ricky brought added joy to her life with her grandchildren Jerald and Ember. Beth decided to try her hand at homeschooling with Rachel which they both loved. At the same time Beth became an amazing administrator at the church. From running media and all things technical to running a satellite school for Global Awakening School of Ministry, Beth was more than accomplished. A gifted women of so many talents but it was her love for people that endeared her to the church community.
She loved birthdays and made them special to each of her children. She loved decorating the house for all of the holidays and especially during Christmas. She also looked forward to the beach and boardwalk in Ocean City where we vacationed every summer. She was a great fan of tennis, keeping fit and cooking amazing meals for her family and friends.
