Christopher F. Basso's Obituary
Christopher F. Basso passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023 at his home in Medford with his family by his side. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Dr. Sabino and Barbara Basso, Christopher was 54 years old and a resident of Medford since 2008.
Christopher received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. John’s University in New York. He was employed as a project manager for Network Building & Consulting, covering their northeast region.
Christopher was an active 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus St. Mary of the Lakes Counsel 6520.
After years of playing hockey Christopher’s love of the sport took on a new role as a passionate hockey dad. As a car enthusiast he enjoyed working on his vehicles and attending local car shows. Most importantly, Christopher loved spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of 21 years to Denise Ismark-Basso, Loving father of Simona Isabella and Leo Christopher. Loving son of Dr. & Mrs Sabino L. Basso, brother of Elisa Milea, Peter Basso, Nicholas Basso, Barbara Basso and the late Sabino Lawrence Basso. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Viewing will be held Thursday, October 19th from 6-8 p.m. and Funeral Procession Friday, October 20th from 9-10:15 a.m. at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street.
His Funeral Mass will follow 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lakes, Medford at 40 Jackson Road, followed by cemetery procession at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery, 3055 Fostertown Road, Mt. Laurel.
All are welcomed to join the family for a Memorial Luncheon following the Cemetery between 1:00-3:30 p.m. at Medford Lakes Country Club, 70 Oak Drive, Medford Lakes.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Christopher’s memory may be made to St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church or to the Knights of Columbus.
To honor Chris’ wishes there will be no eulogies. However, it would be greatly appreciated if you would take the time to share your memories of Chris on this website.
