Daniel J. McKenna Jr.'s Obituary
Daniel J. McKenna, Jr. passed away suddenly on January 26, 2014 of Moorestown, NJ and formerly of Philadelphia. Age 81 years. Dan was a retired press secretary of Sen. Arlen Specter, he also worked in Mayor Frank Rizzo's administration. Dan proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Dan was a proud alumnus of Roman Catholic High School and LaSalle College. Beloved husband of Sandy (née Fraser), loving father of Daniel J. III, Jeanmarie (Jack) Hopely and Elaine McKenna. Grandfather of Brenna, Luke and Marren. Brother of the late Maureen McKenna and the late John McKenna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dan's Life Celebration and viewing Thursday Eve 7-9 p.m. and Friday morning 8:30-9:45 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. His Funeral Mass will follow 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel 42 W. Main St. Moorestown, NJ. Entombment Lakeview Mausoleum.
