Dennis H. Mundy's Obituary
Dennis H. Mundy, of Moorestown, formerly of Cinnaminson and Willingboro. Born in Roanoke, VA to the late Harry and Irene Mundy, Dennis graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1968. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers Camden in Microbiology and a Certificate in the Production of Ice Cream from Penn State University, State College, PA. He passed away peacefully at his home on January 10, 2021, at the age of 70.
Dennis was the beloved husband of Linda M. (nee Rezende) for 45 years. Loving father of Roy C. Mundy III (Erin) and Marcus M. Mundy (Jaclyn). Uncle to Christine I. Lloyd. Dennis was predeceased by his sister, Sharon D. Lloyd.
Dennis was an entrepreneur most of his life. He owned Monday’s Sundaes Ice Cream in Willingboro, NJ, and also managed Holiday Lake in Edgewater Park, NJ during the late 1970s. Dennis was known for his kind smile and warm heart. He loved his family more than anything.
Dennis’ family will plan a life celebration for him at a later date, due to the Covid crisis. He will be cremated and his ashes will comfort his family. No flowers please. Memorial donations may be made in his name to a charity of your choice but the family is only asking that you attend his life celebration when that can be held.
