I've had the pleasure of knowing Dorothy for years now, both when she was active and healthy and through her illness. Life definitely presents many challenges; I truly admire Dorothy's ability to handle everything with humility and grace, no complaints or judgements. I loved hearing her stories about growing up in Iceland, her love for her family, children, grandchildren, friendships and work, home, flowers, plants and pets. Dorothy was a very intelligent person, a lover of reading and knowledge.
I will miss you Dorothy and I am so grateful for our friendship. Rest in peace my friend, job well done.
