Dorothy Saerun Gasper Kristjansson passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side after courageously battling COPD for many years. She was 68 years old.
Born in Keflavík, Iceland to Robert and Gudborg Gasper, Dorothy lived a life centered around family and resilience. She had previously lived in Browns Mills, Eastampton, and Westampton, New Jersey before residing in Delran, New Jersey for the past eight years.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of Olafur Kristjansson. She was the loving mother of Kristofer Olafsson, Daniel Kristjansson, and David Kristjansson. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Oliver, Benedict, Dafney, Theo Stander, and Henning Danielsson.
Dorothy was the dear sister of James Gasper.
An accomplished gardener and devoted animal lover, Dorothy was a dear friend to all who knew her. Before her health failed, she enjoyed caring for her home and spending time outdoors tending to her gardens.
Most importantly, Dorothy cherished spending time with her family, who were the center of her life.
Abiding by her wishes, Dorothy will be cremated and services will be held privately.
