Miss Hutchison was a favorite teacher of ours, Joanie in 1953, Bunk in 1950. She was always a classy lady that received student respect without denanding it. She was one of a kind and will always be remembered. Joanie (Ebert) and Bunk Schaeffer, Seacrest Beach, Florida
Ms Hutchinson was my History teacher 63/64. I'll never forget her classes or her humanity. She was definitely a positive influence on my life. I thank her. She challenged us, and brought out our best.
I fell in love with Dot from my first day in Her class.
Dot was my model teacher from my first year. I knew early on that I wanted to dedicate my life to be the kind of teacher she was and for as long as she taught. I was pleased to bring her a bouquet of white roses last spring. They came from the sprig she had given me 35 years ago which has grown to be the highlight of my garden as she was a very special highlight to those who knew her.

It was a joy to know Miss Hutchinson!I have exchanged birthday and Christmas cards and travel postcards with Miss Hutchinson since I was a student at Palmyra High School.I have rosemary in my kitchen from her garden...The last time I saw her, I shared pictures of my daughter's wedding with her. During that visit, she told one of the staff at the Lutheran Home that she had taught me...and my mother.She was a special lady and I will surely miss her...
"Mom" Hutch was my favorite history teacher at PHS and she was always a class favorite and very caring teacher who made a difference in the lives of those she taught. I know that I was blessed to have had her. Thank you "Mom" Hutch and may you celebrate your life with our Lord! Wayne Weart 1966
Ms. Hutchinson was a wonderful lady and exceptional teacher of mine in the Palmyra High School class of 1949. What fond memories of her I have. My sincerest sympathy to the surviving members of her family.
