I remember my first meeting with this fabulous woman. Marion's parents had preceded Aunt Edna so there was no one for me, a rather traditional fellow, to ask permission to marry her. So, I asked Aunt Edna. I don't remember her precise words, but I know they were given with a smile and with her wonderful, gentle grace she always carried with her. I wish I had known her longer. She was an amazing woman and will be sorely missed.
