Dear family,
On my return from a long stay away from home, i learned of the sad news.
I will always remember Emile for his long and loyal membership to the UFE (Union des Francais a l'Etranger) and his spirited presence to many of our activities.
His wit and jovial contributions to these events brought smiles to everyone present.
Although no longer the president of the UFE, I wish to offer my deepest condolences to all the members of his family, and Daniel Hebert in particular, whom I had the pleasure to meet at many occasions.
As a fellow French-American, I am very saddened by Emile's passing. He will be sorely missed.
