Emile Hebert's Obituary
EMILE HEBERT
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Lutheran Home of Moorestown. Born in Paris, France, Emile was 94 years old. Affectionately known as Frenchie, Emile was a long time resident of Palmyra, NJ. Emile served as a pilot during WWII in the French Naval Air Force in the North African Theatre. He was recipient of the Croix de guerre medal, which is the highest French Medal of Honor. He also was decorated with the Silver and Bronze Star. Emile received his Master's degree in electronics. He was employed as an electronic design engineer for M. K. D. of Mt. Laurel and RCA/Lockheed. Emile was the proud owner of several patents. He will be remembered by his friendly smile, often seen in his daily walks to the Post Office and other locations in Palmyra. Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Janny Hebert. Loving father of Josette Leusner (Paul), Annie Dreyfus (Glenn Peidl), Joan Byrne (Matt) and Daniel Hebert (Dina). Loving grand pop to Scott Leusner (Jamy), Timothy Leusner (Gina), Jennifer and Matthew Byrne, Ciara and Daniel Hebert. Grand grand pop to Benjamin, Nicholas and Jacob. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Emile's viewing and life celebration Wednesday Eve 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 N. His Funeral Service will follow 11:30 a.m. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
