We feel that Elder Wehner’s light was extinguished far too soon but we trust The Lord’s decision, because He does all things well. Could it be that that He had to put one giant light to sleep in order to ignite hundreds of smoldering lights, because He wants to save us all? Bro. Wehner loved the Lord, his wife Joy his family. He had a big voice, big heart, radiant smile and a gentle, meek and forgiving spirit. Elder Wehner also loved his church families and his community; and we loved him right back. He cared deeply for souls and was always ready to lend a helping hand as Jesus did. He was a true servant leader! In his honor may we purpose in our hearts, by the grace of God, to become lights in our small corners so Jesus can come and save us. May our sorrow and grief lessen as we find solace and hope in 1Thess. 4:13-18. May The Lord bless, comfort and wrap His loving arms around you Sis. Joy and your family. If we can be of any help to you please don’t hesitate to call Terrina or myself. ❤️🙏🏾
