I was truly shocked and saddened upon hearing of Father Ryan's passing! He was just consoling our family on the passing of my mother. My prayers and condolences go out to his family, friends, and to all at Corpus Christ as we are the ones suffering. Father Ryan is at peace and still doing God's work! I remember Fr. Ryan when he was at St. Joseph's in Keyport...what a gifted speaker he was, I loved hearing stories about his Bronx roots! Fr. will be truly missed but his words will be in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

My prayers and condolences to Fr. Ryan's family. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all he touched. I will remember fondly his enthusiastic outreach to the diverse community of Corpus Christi; dancing to the drums after African Heritage Mass, contributing a dish to the Latino Heritage reception, and helping us all learn more about each other and Catholicism around the world.
