So today I had to say good bye to my big brother! I really did not see this coming but I’m so grateful he was with the people he loved so much! Matt I’m so sorry the way it happened but he was with everyone he loved and he did not suffer! We all need to remember that he did not suffer! My heart aches for so many reasons - I wanted to do a Eulogy today -but they didn’t want that! Our father passed away in 1969 - Buddy was 12, Bobby was 9 and I was 3. That really broke him! He became the man of the family - that should not have been! We had many family members - especially of our Aunt and Uncle that lived down the street - Aunt Edith we would not have made it without you!! You help us through so much - thank you from the bottom of my heart !
Buddy was my brother and second father - it broke my heart that he felt responsible for us! He was too young to deal with all of that! But I never knew he was upset - of course I don’t remember those years to well! I loved my brother with all my heart - I’m grateful for the time spent with him! He was with us when the Eagles won the Super Bowl! Such a great night!
Im so thankful for his son Mat - you changed his life and made him into the father you, Tyler and Jo-Jo needed! He learned from the best! My father showed him how to be a father! He never forgot that!! You all have a special Angel looking over you!!!
All I can say is thank you for being a part of my life! I love you and pray you are back with our parents!! We all love you so much!!

A lot of happy memories of my dad taking us to Uncle Buddy’s to go swimming when we were kids. I still don’t think anyone can top the stories my dad shared when we got older of his adventures with Buddy and Jimmy. Rest in peace Uncle Buddy.

Driving across the state of North Carolina on Sunday to get beer. Reaching the store learning we had to wait until 12 noon to purchase...I was the one on Saturday stating " We can get tomorrow"..not knowing Myrtle Beach is dry on Sundays... fun vacation 2001 many fun memories
Buddy was one of my dearest friends from High School. He was a Marines Marine. I would have followed him thru the fires of hell anytime. So glad we had our summer trip out to Mt Rushmore last year. Amazing that we never missed a beat after 40 years and didn’t kill each other. I will miss him dearly and love him for eternity.
