Francis "Bud" Funk Jr.'s Obituary
Francis J. “Bud” Funk, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ.
Bud was born in Philadelphia to Francis J. and Rita H. Funk, Bud was 63 years old.
Bud proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps for 14 years.
Husband of Sandra Funk. Loving father of Matthew (Sarah) McGrath, Tyler McGrath and Joseph Baranoski. Cherished Pop-pop to Maisie and Harper McGrath. Dear brother of Barbara (Don) Staudt and Robert (Pam) Funk.
Beloved uncle Kate, D.J., Diana, Ross, Chandler, Franny, Megan, K.C., Chris, James, Joey, Jared and Bridget.
Bud is also survived by many cousins, close family members and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held this Saturday from 9a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street.
Bud’s Funeral Mass will follow 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 236 E. Main Street Maple Shade.
The family would appreciate the guest to wear any Philadelphia sports jerseys to Bud’s visitation and funeral.
Facial mask and social distancing is required.
