Frank and I were teammates and friends for three years in Little League and high school friends. I'd like to share a favorite memory. Every time we would see each other at high school reunions, we'd boast to each other, "I WAS THE BEST PLAYER ON OUR VFW LITTLE LEAGUE TEAM!" Neither one backing down, it was a little running gag that we had over the years. So, while driving to our '07 reunion, I think to myself, "Y'know, Ken, I think Frank might have been a little better than you. I'm going to admit to him when I see him that he really was the best player on the team." I get to the reunion, and one of the first people I run into is Frank. I can't wait to tell him what was on my mind during the trip, and the moment we meet we both blurt out at the same time, "YOU WERE THE BEST PLAYER ON OUR VFW LITTLE LEAGUE TEAM!" Like he was reading my mind! Frank was such a nice guy, with a great personality and a good heart. I will miss him.
