Frank J. Zizik's Obituary
Frank J. Zizik passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Frank T. and Mary Zizik, Frank was 68 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson, NJ since 1986.
Frank received his bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck NJ, where he also played on the baseball team as a starting pitcher. Following college, Frank spent his career as a salesman. He was most recently a sales person for Raymour and Flannigan in Cherry Hill for the last 16 years prior to retiring in 2022.
Frank had a passion for all sports. As a child, you could always find him playing pickup games with family and friends in the streets of New Milford, NJ or standing on the pitcher’s mound each weekend at the local park. Frank loved coaching in-town and travel soccer for all his kids. When he wasn’t coaching, he enjoyed crosswords and thousand-piece puzzles. Most importantly, Frank loved his family.
Beloved husband of 44 years to Gail A. (nee Ratajczak). Loving father of Stephanie (Christopher) Downes, Amanda Zizik, and Gregory (Jennifer) Zizik. Cherished grandfather of Madelyn, Cameron and Grayson.
Brother of Robert (Debra) Zizik and Barbara (Robert) Whitaker.
A gathering of family and friends will be held this Wednesday, September 6th, from 3-7 p.m. and Thursday, September 7th, from 10-11 a.m. at Givnish Funeral Home of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North.
His Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital.
