My grandpop was such an amazing person. He had the personality and sense of humor like my grandmom did. He always treated his loved ones equally as everyone else around him. Even though me and Samantha are their only grandchildren, they never favored one grandchild over the other. The same goes for my mom and dad. It was all equal for everyone. My grandpop enjoyed his westerns, going out to eat on special occasions with us, trips to storybook land, and so on. Every Sunday when we would go down to help him out with his errands, he always had on a western movie from back then. I enjoyed sitting with him and watching the movie while chatting with him. The love, care, and support he and my grandmom gave to us was incredible. I could not be more thankful, grateful, and blessed to be their granddaughter. And to tell people how awesome my grandparents were. I was so happy to witness what my grandparents always did. I can only imagine the looks on their faces and reactions when my dad told them he was marrying my mom and making her a part of their lives. And the looks finding out they were going to be first time grandparents and second time grandparents. My grandpop had his humor. As I got older, I got more into the fangirl and dating stage, he would always point to me and tell me ‘’ your very fickle. ‘’ There are other many stories that are funny I could share about my grandpop. One time when we were at care-one for Memorial Day, they had a BBQ lunch and they also had watermelon and grandpop tried some. He told us, ‘’ its way to hard to eat, not even worth trying. They should put them back on the vine!!!!’’ All of us were laughing. I mentioned later about it, and he said ‘’ They really should have put that back in the ground!!’’ Another time we were all out to eat at Charley’s other brother, while we were getting out of the car out of no where grandpop blurted out loud, ‘’ Charley’s is a pain in the foot!!!!’’ I Always thought it was funny when he called things a pain in the foot. Another thing he used to do at Christmas he always used to say ‘’ Bah Humbug!!!!’’ Honestly, my grandpop had such a great, caring, and loving heart to him. Like both of my grandmoms did. Make sure to spend time with your loved ones. And cherish the moments you have with them and the moments that have happened.
