Gerald Evans' Obituary
Gerald Evans was born October 10, 1938 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to the late Alexander Evans and Martha Nixon. He was one of eight children, which they all preceded him in death: Marian, Glen, Alfred, Marvin, Frederick, Jacqueline, and Maurice.
"Ski" as he was fondly known, graduated from the Philadelphia Public school system. He then went into the U.S. Air Force and received an Honorable discharge
Ski later resided in many areas of the city. Throughout Ski's life, he's grown a passion for art of karate and has won a multitude of competitions and received many
trophies and certificates. He loved karate so much that he became an instructor and has inspired and touched many lives along the way. His karate family loved him so much that he became a part of their family. He taught karate until his sickness. Ski will be missed by those who truly loved him. May he rest well.
