James O. Wargny's Obituary
Like Will Rogers, Jay liked just about everyone he met. He was generous and affable and tended to see the best in others (whether it was there or not). He was a loyal friend, a fantastic father, a wonderful husband, and a dedicated Christian. Alzheimers stole the memory and mind of a sweet and very funny guy. Jay instilled a love of music into many children during his 36 years of teaching. He loved singing, a good meal, a family get-together, and summer vacation.
Jay was 81 and leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Lyn, his son Steven (Phoebe), three grandchildren, Sebastian, Rex, and Juniper, a brother Sam, and a host of grieving friends. Visiting hours will be held from 10-11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM Saturday October 27th at the Calvary Presbyterian Church, 300 Fourth Street, Riverton, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Calvary Presbyterian Church or to Alzheimers research would be delightful.
