In loving Memory of Jean Marie Smith
Jean Marie Smith (nee Yost), age 60, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at her home in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, surrounded by her adoring children, loving husband, and family. Jean was born in Philadelphia, PA, and grew up in the Harrowgate section of Philadelphia. Jean attended St. Joan of Arc elementary school and later graduated from Little Flower High School Class of 1981.
Jean was the beloved wife of James Smith; loving daughter of Margaret (nee Schneider) Yost and the late James “Big Jim” Yost. Cherished mother of James and Kyle (Nicole) of Cinnaminson, NJ; adoring Mum Mum of Kellan Smith; dear sister of Michael Fatty Yost (Maureen); sister in-law of Marianne Hennessey (Joseph), Brian Smith (Sandy) and Caroline Crouse (Gregory), the late Francis Smith (late Dolores). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, & friends who will miss her dearly.
Jean loved to vacation at the Jersey shore with her family, especially trips to North Wildwood. She had a strong passion for country music and dancing.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Sunday, March 3rd from 3 – 5 pm and Monday, March 4th from 9 – 10 am. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ, followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
