Jack Murphy was a rare breed. I always remember "Mr. Murphy" having a big smile on his face,radiating positivity, with a kind and gentle soul. Mr. Murphy and his wife, Fran, were wonderful friends to my mother, Camille Brill, who passed in August, 2015. One very fond memory I have of Mr. Murphy is what he did for me and my Mom when my daughter Stacia was baptized. Jack offered to videotape my daughter's baptism (VCR!). He did a terrific job and put in a lot of "extras", like subtitles and great close-ups of everyone. I still keep my 13" TV with VCR so that I can watch the video. Jack was a class act who will be missed by many. My heart and prayers go out to Fran, Jan, and family.

I had the pleasure taking care of John as his hospice aide . John was such a great guy , every morning I come in and he would greet me with the biggest smile and say " How about the Eagles" , we would talk for hours about the Eagles and is time in Norte Dame . He loved talking about his beautiful wife and wonderful children. He loved to sing Nat King Cole songs , there was never a dull moment with us . May you rest in peace John !!

That Irish face of Jack Murphy always stood out at Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church where I served from 1984-1994. Faithful, generous and loving of family stand our as his gifts to all around him.
May he rest in peace and may you have many happy memories to share when you mention his name.
I have so many memories of "Murph". Mostly how much he loved his wife and children. During my teen years and after I married Theresa I knew I could always stop by and he would always make time for me. He was like a second father and I will always remember that wonderful laugh. He wil be missed by many.
