Mary Ann Gianvito-Richards
Cousin Johnny will be remembered in so many ways.
I have the best memories of Uncle Rocky, Johnnie, Barb and me in the basement on Haakon Avenue watching Johnny operate his electric train Christmas Village that he and Uncle Rocky built together. Train whistles blowing, cattle cars loading and unloading, and the trains slowing down to stay on track around those difficult curves.
And always after playing we’d hear Aunt Violent calling: “Dinner’s on the table; it’s gonna get cold. Come on everybody! And we’d all gather around the dining room table for a delicious dinner and one of Aunt Violet’s surprise desserts.
Thank you, Uncle Rocky, Aunt Violet, Johnny, Barbara, Carol and Chick for the warm and wonderful memories. Love, Cousin Mary Ann
