It is with deep sadness that I heard of the loss of my cousin Joe. He was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed by all. I have fond memories of playing in the barns at Grampy's farm as a child with Joe and more recently spending time with Joe at Barbara's annual 4th of July Barbecues and at the beach in Ocean City. May he rest in peace.
The McCorriston family embraced me when I moved 2 houses down from them years ago when I was raising my children as a single mom and very quickly became family. To learn of this news is so sad . Joe was quirky, funny and was a joy to be around. Elke my love is sent to you and the family. Prayers and peace to you all.
My childhood was brightened with the remembrance of your character and your distinctive voice. Remembering the peaceful times at Grand-moms house, playing in the barns and selling Christmas trees. I was blessed having you as a loving part of my life.

My heart is hurting knowing that you will not be here for Fourth of July picnics and Thanksgiving dinners anymore. I loved you like a brother. Countless times you never hesitated to help me out with one task or another at a moment's notice. Rest in peace my cousin. I miss you so much already.
