I didn't know Joe as well as I knew Chrissy or Kevin. To be honest, I could probably count on one hand the times that I was fortunate enough to be somewhere that they all were at the same time. But that makes Joe all the more memorable to me in that he always treated me as if I was someone he actually knew well. The lasting impression I will have of Joe is that he was a friendly man with character and that he made me feel welcome immediately. He just seemed like one of those guys.
I'll always remember Joey as Chrissy's fun loving older brother. Sure, he would tease us when we were young and mess with us, but that's what older brothers do. As we got older, I saw a side of Joey that was so sweet, fun, and caring. He was always protective of his younger siblings and couldn't be a nicer guy to their friends. My dad always told us when Joey would come in the store to buy a hoagie, how friendly and personable he was. Just an all around good guy. Joey, you truly will be missed by all. Rest in peace, I will never forget you.
