Karen H. Harrison's Obituary
Karen H. Harrison (nee Haskins), of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ to the late Guy and Elizabeth (nee Runyan) Haskins on October 18, 1946, she was 78 years old.
Karen was the beloved wife of Bruce L. Harrison for 54 years; loving mother of Brent L. Harrison (Leah Blain) and Lev Harrison; cherished Nana of Odin and Isis Harrison; dear sister of Linda Miller and Wendy Noel Haskins-Hafer. Karen is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends, who will miss her greatly.
Karen earned a bachelors degree from Wittenburg University and a masters degree in education from Indiana University. Thereafter, she worked as a teacher and then as a human resources professional with PNC Bank for over 40 years. She served on the board of directors of both Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill Industries. Karen was a dedicated member of two bridge groups and loved traveling. She cherished time in the Thousand Islands with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, on
Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 10am to 11:30am for a viewing and a brief ceremony. A luncheon at Tre Famiglia in Haddonfield will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen’s memory to Habitat for Humanity, https://habitatcamden.com.
