Dear Phyllis, Steven and Ken,
Sending you my deepest sympathy.
Your Dad was such a kind and loving man.
I remember when he came to my home to visit my Dad for his 95th birthday. Two brothers, sitting and reminiscing about the good old days. We laughed, we cried, and I knew, deep down, that your Dad realized it would be the last time he saw his beloved brother. He drove all the way to Chicago to see him. That’s the kind of man he was.
He will always be in my heart and I picture him now, in heaven, sitting with his brothers, catching up on all of the latest news.
I pray that the wonderful memories you have of your Dad will bring you comfort during these most difficult days and that, in time, those memories will turn your tears to smiles.
Rest in eternal peace, Uncle Leonard.
Give Aunt Pat and Michael a kiss from me.
Love,
Karen
