Lorraine and I met when I moved across from her and Glenn. From day one, she became my friend and neighbor. We grew closer together when we saw we had so much in common: love of singing, art and teaching and love of children.
I am and will always be grateful for her kind heart, her love for me, as her friend and as we would say, "sisters from another mother, and sisters from another lifetime." Our love of God, Christ, music, and children made us closer together. I am still in shock of her untimely death, but I know she is in heaven with her little baby daughter, Celina whom she never got over her death just barely born, taken too soon as well with our Lord as an Angel in heaven. Lorraine is now in heaven with little Celina, but I will always miss our loss here on earth, for one of God’s soldiers here on earth is no longer with us. Now an Angel in heaven, I love you always, “mi hermana”. You will never be forgotten...Iraida Afanador and family
