Lorraine J. Arechavala-Ryan's Obituary
Lorraine J. Ryan (Arechavala), 52, of Collingswood, NJ passed away suddenly on Wednesday October 9, 2019.
Lorraine had various passions in life such as music, teaching, charity work, and her faith in God. She spent years showcasing her skill and talent by performing with several String Bands around the area. The program known as BUDS (Bringing Up Down Syndrome) was especially close to her heart. Faith in God played an important part of Lorraine’s daily life.
She was a beloved faculty member at the Hartford School in Mt. Laurel NJ, and was currently working in the 5th grade STEM program there. Teaching was Lorraine’s true passion in life.
Lorraine J. Arechavala-Ryan was the beloved daughter of (late) Jose and (late) Jean Arechavala. She was a loving and devoted wife of 13 years to Glenn Ryan, Jr. and a caring mother to (late) Celina Joy Ryan, and Diana. Lorraine is survived by her 4 brothers Kenneth (Jane), Eric (Bernadette), Joseph (Sharon), and Marvin (Donna). She will be missed dearly by her nieces and nephews Melissa; Amber Lynn, Alexis; Jennifer, Jose, Alejandro; Kevin, Michele, Michael and her many cousins, friends, students, and co-workers.
A gathering of family and friends for Lorraine Arechavala-Ryan will be held on Monday October 14, 2019 from 6-9pm at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rt. 130 N., Cinnaminson, NJ 08077 and again on Tuesday October 15, 2019 from 9-10am at the funeral home. Following the viewing a funeral service will be held starting at 10am. An interment for Lorraine will take place at Locustwood cemetery.
