Lorraine Blumberg's Obituary
The world lost a glowing beacon of love with the passing of Lorraine “Mommom” Blumberg (nee DeSandro), of Marlton, on August 29, 2023. Born in Philadelphia to the late James DeSandro and the late Mildred DeSandro (nee Venuto). Beloved wife of the late Richard “Poppop” Blumberg. Loving mother to Donna Ibrahim (Hanfy), Linda Lammers (John), Eileen McGrath (John), and Jeanne Morrison (William). Cherished Mommom to Bruce (Danielle), Lauren (Matthew), John (Francesca), Richard, Louis (Nicole), Alexa (Michael), Bobby (Taylar), Rachel, Kevin (Lauren), Michael, and Hailey. As well as two step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Mommom, the matriarch of the family, will always be remembered for her unconditional love, generosity, and energy. She was a woman that would do anything for anyone, embodied grace in all her actions and inspired love and respect in everyone that she came across. Her meticulous appearance and energy were unmatched. Mommom cherished her family and friends above all else and leaves with them memories and smiles that will last for an eternity. While we will forever miss her here on Earth, we know she is with her husband, Poppop, forever watching over us with her loving spirit.
