I was a patient of hers for about 18 years in Browns Mills, NJ. I heard about her cancer when she was in Pennsauken, NJ. I moved to Minnesota in August of 2023. One day I just looked her up to see if she maybe beat the cancer and that's when I saw this info. about her memorial. She was a sweet woman and made me laugh a lot, even when I had dental instruments in my mouth. She always smiled and made me feel comfortable. May she be at peace now. I will always remember Mala as a kind, considerate, humble person whose life reflected her faith. She had a quiet demeanor but was not afraid to share her views and hold a spirited conversation. I fondly remember our long drives to collect field data when we worked at TMRU, UWI and those conversations that showed her personality, values and love for her sisters. It with sadness that I learned about her passing and want to convey my condolences to Jankie, Visha and Malini. I am honoured to have known Mala and wish you all God’s comfort and blessings at this time.
