Margaret "Peggie Anne" Painter's Obituary
Margaret A. Painter (nee Curtis) "Peggie Anne" passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, Peggie Anne was a resident of Cinnaminson since 1981.
Beloved wife of 57 years to the late John “Jack” Painter. Loving mother of Bonnie A., Michele A., Tiffany A. and Tracy P. (Jeff) Salvatore. Cherished Nana to Jeffrey, Jr. and Jacob. Dear sister of the late Dr. John E. Curtis, Jr.
Peggie Anne was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy. She then attended St. Joseph School of Nursing and St. Joseph College where she received her B.S. degree. Peggie Anne was head nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, retiring in 1963. She traveled extensively with husband Jack. Peggie Anne was an active member of the St. Charles Borromeo Parish Community.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Peggie Anne's Life Celebration and visitation Friday Eve 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 9:15-10:15 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rte. 130 N. Her Funeral Mass will follow 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Cinnaminson. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Peggie Anne's name may be made to the Covenant House, 461 Eighth Ave., NY, NY, 10001 or by visiting www.covenanthouse.org.
