I have learned through Marion's grandson,Mike Watkins, what a special lady Marion was. So many accomplishments and admired by so many. I am so sorry for your loss and glad that you have so many special memories of her. Debbie Quebe
Aunt Marion, thanks for all of the wonderful memories of my childhood, especially the one I have no memory of but you have always so masterfully re-told. I was a young tike and would visit frequently. I loved to turn on the gas burner of your stove and listen to the hiss of the gas escaping from the burner. In those days there were no pilot lights to light the burner. So, the escaping gas made a great sound as long as I had it on. And as you tell it, 'I grabbed your hand and lit the burner with a match and put your hand close enough to the flame that you felt the heat'; 'I pulled away and yelled, "I'll knock your teef (teeth) out". We have always had some great laughs from that episode. That was the last time I ever pulled that stunt. I have always enjoyed our visits in the later years of our lives, especially for your 100th birthday. We will always remember and cherish our time with you. Love Dean and Sandy.
Our family has lost a wonderful, caring person with a great sense of humor and a loving heart. Our visits with Aunt Marion were full of fun and laughter. We all have fond memories and many stories to share. We will cherish her memory and will always feel blessed that she was a part of our lives for so long. She will be missed not only by her family but by her many friends. Love Phyllis and Carl Lindquist
