Marion Winters' Obituary
Marion E. Winters (nee Broderson) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Care One at Moorestown. Marion was born on her family farm in Adam's Wharf now known as Willingboro. Marion would have been 103 years old this May. She lived most of her life in the Cinnaminson area. In her younger years, Marion worked as a waitress for Richard's Restaurant, The Ivystone, The Merion, The Colonial and The Peppermill.
Marion was a past member of the Riverton Fire Company's Ladies' Auxiliary.
Marion was always ready with a joke and had a great sense of humor. She was well liked by everyone. She will be remembered as a warm, caring person who loved her family, friends and neighbors and will be deeply missed by all.
Beloved wife of the late Anderson "Hank" Winters and the late William Watkins. Loving mother of Ronald Watkins. Sister of Katherine Cooper. Mother-in-law of Barbara Winters. Predeceased by her sons Harry and Jack Watkins, her siblings Bertha Wetherell and John Broderson..
Grandmother of Michael Watkins, Gary & Dale Watkins, Michele Pearlmutter, Leona & Dylan Snively and the late Sherri Lyn Rawlings. Great grandmother of Justin Pearlmutter, Annabeth Watkins, and Madison & Dominic Snively.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marion's Life Celebration Saturday starting 11 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North.
Her Memorial Service will follow at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
