Mark William Evans passed away peacefully at his home in Riverton surrounded by his family on November 14, 2018. He was 66 years old. Mark was the beloved husband of Judy (nee Dutterer) for 33 years. Loving father of Philip Louis Read Obituary
I've sailed/raced with Mark for many years, he was always a gentleman on the water and off, but still a fierce competitor and always a credit to the sport of sailboat racing. It was a special moment for all of us for Mark to overcome his stroke induced handicaps and to skipper the sailing vessel Ippon to a first place finish in a major regatta in Annapolis last summer. The Ippon crew still talks about how great that moment was and we are all terribly saddened by his passing.
