Mark William Evans' Obituary
Mark William Evans passed away peacefully at his home in Riverton surrounded by his family on November 14, 2018. He was 66 years old.
Mark was the beloved husband of Judy (nee Dutterer) for 33 years. Loving father of Philip Louis Evans. Dear brother of Dean Evans, Bryan Evans, David Evans (Martha), Jean-Anne McMahon (Kevin), the late Robert L. Evans Jr. (Susan) and the late Louis Evans. Mark is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
An accomplished golfer and sailor, Mark was happiest spending time on the water with family and friends. He enjoyed time at the Jersey shore jet skiing, fishing and sailing. He was a member of the Riverton Yacht Club and enjoyed racing his J22 and sharing his passion for sailing with young and old. Mark sailed his final race in a charity regatta to benefit Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB), a group that provides boating to persons with disabilities.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rte. 130 N., on Tuesday evening, November 20th, from 5 pm – 7 pm. His memorial service will begin at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in Mark’s memory be made to the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, Development Department, 1513 Race Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102-1177, or to CRAB, P.O.
