Mary Ellen was a great neighbor in RVC! She and her family were a big part of Cambridge Street and added to all the good things in our lives. We were fortunate to know Stan and Mary Ellen. Your family will be in my prayers. Kathy McCabe.
Rest in peace Aunt Mary. Hopefully you, mom, my dad, my brother Jerry, uncle Peter, Uncle Tom and Grandma Lilly are enjoying a good laugh in heaven. So many wonderful memories of our many family gatherings in Rockville Centre.
My grandmother was a remarkable woman. She was very intelligent, we had many conversations about politics, philosophy, and religion. She cared deeply about God and her family, and shared that with everyone she met. She loved music, and she loved listening to me play the piano. I only wish that I had more opportunities to play for her. I admire my grandmother very much and I see a lot of her in my mom. I love her and we will miss her everyday.
My grandmother was such a major influence in my life, especially in learning about and growing in my Catholic faith.
She was one of my biggest cheerleaders since the day I was born and I’m so incredibly grateful to have had her as my grandma. I will miss her so much. 💕
