I don't even know where to begin.....you are and always will be my friend, and mostly my brother......in out of uniform you have always been there , caring, loving and warm.....we went through a lot both personally and professionally. You always saw good in the people you came across. Your demur and kind heart will live on with you forever. GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIEND AND BROTHER ....I WILL ALWAYS MISS KEEP YOU CLOSE.
I cannot tell you how sorry I was to hear of Mike's passing. I did not know him well at all but remember him when he was a police officer in Edgewater Park and heard his name many times from my brothers, Steve and Tim, who always spoke highly of him. I was in the Social Security Office in Mount Laurel a few years ago and I didnt realize it was him at first but remember thinking how friendly and helpful he was with everyone who came through the door. When I realized who he was, I walked over to introduce myself and he immediately asked about my brothers. We had a nice conversation and I went on my way but thought what an asset he was to that office. I was happy that I had that conversation with him. My heart breaks for his family and you will be in my thoughts and prayers that you are given the strength to endure through this difficult time. RIP. Mike and thank you for your service.
Mike always made time for others. I met him while working at the drive in movies around 79 ish. We caught some fence jumpers, called EPD and he offered to pay their way in. He just had this way about him that we could talk to him at his EPD car, in a store, at home. A class act. I'll never forget Him or his mentoring. R.I.P.
I am so sad Mike passed away. He was one of the nicest kindness police officer and person.
Last time I saw him he was working at the SS office but when I go in there chat with him time to time.
I am deeply sorry to the families loss. We were honored as citizens in Edgewater Park to have him as one of our police officer. RIP Mike.

I first met Mike in Jan. 1977. We were members of Class 24, Burlington County Police Academy. Upon graduation I served with the Pemberton Twp. P.D., then transferred to the Burlington Twp. P.D. which borders Edgewater Park so Mike and I would would occasionally run into each other or back each other up on calls, traffic stops, etc.
I would have to say that I immediately liked Mike. I found him to be personable, intelligent, polite and treated everybody decently. We engaged in many good conversations both at the academy and in the years that followed. He possessed all the qualities necessary to be a good policeman.
I will miss seeing him. I'm glad to have known him.
