Michael G. Simonka's Obituary
Michael G. Simonka passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 11th, 2021 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly.
Mike was born in Mt. Holly to Alexander and Shirley Simonka and passed at the age of 58.
Michael was a loving and devoted father to Brittany Simonka and Samantha Simonka. He was the former husband of Karen Simonka and brother to Charles Simonka and late Alexander Simonka, Jr. He is also survived by Victoria Elstone, Keith Elstone (Lauren Mason), Mason Elstone.
He was a 1981 graduate of Florence High School where he played quarterback, short stop and point guard. Moe was extremely athletic and had a competitive personality.
Besides spending time with his family and friends, Moe enjoyed fishing, golfing, cooking, entertaining and coaching softball for his girls. He was a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles. He touched many lives with his generosity and sense of humor.
A gathering of family and friends will be held this Saturday from 10a.m. to 12 noon at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. His Memorial Service will follow at 12 p.m.
All visitors are required to wear masks and social distancing will be in effect.
